DOSSHAUS : “OUR INSPIRATION IS SIMPLE, WE ARE BUILDING THE WORLD IN WHICH WE WISH TO LIVE”.
Dosshaus born in October of 2011 and is the artistic collaboration of Zoey Taylor and David Connelly, multi-disciplinary artists whose work ranges from painting, sculpture, installation and performance to photography, film, and video.
The House of Cardboard is one an ongoing installation project. Every object in the House of Cardboard is a sculpture made entirely of cardboard, paint, & glue. Each installation is an entire room in the House, centered around a specific theme.
The sculptures are composed of over 90% recycled cardboard sourced from the alleyways of Los Angeles, CA. The only materials used are cardboard, paint & glue. All cardboard is cut and shaped by hand.
